She was foaled on 7th June 2011, out of Joy's Crystal Charm by Joy's Moondance. She is weaned and available now. Is taught to lead and to have her feet trimmed and picked up. Eliza is super friendly and loves people. 75 per mini mediterranean . Vaccinated.

Good donkeys are scarce, so expect to wait a while for one that will suit you. Meanwhile consider these suggestions:

1.Go to our Studs page and make contact with those breeding donkeys of the sort you hope to buy. It is common practice to book a foal, even before birth. That means a lengthy wait, since foals are not available until after weaning at around 6 months. It’s worth waiting for a good animal.

2.Contact Pat Streefkerk, our Exchange Coordinator. She keeps a list of people wanting a donkey and will help find a donkey for you. She regularly knows of donkeys before they are advertised.

3.Consider joining the Society. Members receive Brayings. Donkeys for sale are commonly first advertised there as a service to our members. You might also like to attend some events, meet other members and learn more before you commit yourself to a donkey

have had a phone call from a man in McLaren Vale SA who has about
10 donkeys for sale, both jacks and jennies from about 10hh to 12hh.
He is able to geld any if required. He wants about $500 each. He says they are all handled and quiet, pick up feet etc. He uses his donkeys for Christmas nativity scenes etc, but has gradually acquired and bred too many.
In a week or so he is going to Horsham and could bring some down if anyone is interested.
